What is The

                              “Courage to Dream” Challenge?

 

                                          WOAMTEC® Foundation works with our partners to provide

                                           the Courage to Dream Challenge. Our foundation recipients, derived

                                            from teens aging out of the foster care system, children and young

                                            adults in self-help centers, victims of domestic violence and other

                                             forms of abuse complete the journey of self-discovery and life

                                             skill classes, concluded by an 8-hour long YOUTH SUMMIT and

                                          Graduation Ceremony through WOAMTEC® Founda­tion’s Courage to

                                      Dream Challenge. Throughout the challenge, individu­als begin to define their unique voice and dreams, build self-confidence and set goals necessary to embrace the opportunity and a new life free of victimization; a life of personal empowerment. WOAMTEC® Foundation teaches through example by using the personal experiences, knowledge, and teachings of the members who have overcome challenges and achieved success. Our Courage to Dream participants will learn firsthand the personal value of living

a D-R-E-A-M.

 

At the conclusion of the program, the students will participate in a Youth Summit followed by a Graduation Ceremony and Reception.
